Korean-Style Dried Flower Fundamental Training Course (3 lessons)

Course Introduction

This course is a foundational training program designed for those who wish to learn floristry with intention and depth.

Rather than a casual hobby class, this program offers a structured approach to dried flower design, guided by the principles of Korean floral aesthetics — gentle layering, refined lines, and mindful use of space.

Through a calm and supportive learning environment, students are encouraged to slow down, observe, and understand the relationship between flowers, form, and balance.

This course serves as a quiet yet solid first step for anyone considering a deeper journey into floristry.

Course Structure

The training consists of three progressive sessions, moving from simple forms to more expressive compositions.

Lesson 1 | Basic Theory & Pot Arrangement

• Introduction to dried flowers and gentle handling
• Floral foam usage and basic structure
• Flower positioning and balance
• Creating soft layers and natural flow
• Pot arrangement 

Lesson 2 | Glass Cloche Composition

• Spatial composition and placement
• Understanding line and rhythm in floral design
• Creating depth through layering
• Glass cloche arrangement 

Lesson 3 | Medium-Sized Hand-Tied Bouquet

• Spiral hand-tied bouquet technique
• Inverted triangle structure and flower placement
• Line movement and breathing space
• Wrapping practice with floral paper

Teaching Format

• Small group learning for focused guidance
• Hands-on demonstrations with quiet, attentive instruction
• Design explanation and experience sharing
• Flexible scheduling by appointment (1.5 days or 3 half days - approx. 3 hours per lesson)
• Basic theory sharing with notes

Course Schedule

• This course is designed to be completed within a one-month period to ensure continuity and effective skill development.
• Lessons are scheduled by appointment and subject to studio availability.
• Due to peak studio activity, weekend peak hours (Saturday & Sunday, 12-4pm) are not available for booking.
• Flexible weekday (10:30am-6pm) and non-peak weekend slots (10am / 4-7pm) are available.
• Tuition is non-refundable, but rescheduling is free with at least 2 days’ notice for once.
